A crowdfunding page has been set up to raise money for the funeral of Cameron Lindley, who died in Betws earlier this month.
Cameron passed away on Thursday, September 8, after an incident in the Treforis area left him with fatal injuries.
Since Cameron’s death, many people have been offering their tributes to the 22-year-old.
Heartfelt messages included: “Such a lovely boy, thinking of the family"; “Devastating news, I'm so so sorry for your loss" and "I'm so sorry for what happened and what you're all going through.”
The GoFundMe page was set up by Dawn Lovell, who is very close to the Lindley family, and her friend Zoe Alharti.
Currently, almost £4,000 has been raised, and it is heading towards the target figure of £6,000.

Dawn said: “He was a charming and beautiful boy. We set up the fundraiser just so we could give him the send off that he deserves.
“We’re hoping to get him a horse and carriage, and get lots of people from the community attending, like people from his old football club.
“Thank you for your continued support. It means so much to everyone involved.”
Cameron’s former football club, Cilfrew Rovers, raised more than £200 for the funeral fundraising campaign, and paid tribute to Cameron in a special message.
A spokesperson from the club said: “All the squad who were lucky enough to meet Cameron, and some grew up playing with him, remember him smiling.
“We remember our teammate as a genuine and dedicated man, who put 100 per cent into everything he did.
"He had a positive attitude and respect to everyone he spoke to. He was a pleasure to be around and a valued member of our club.
"Cameron will be missed by all at Cilfrew Rovers, who were privileged enough to call him a teammate and even more so a friend. He will be missed by all.”
