An inquest has formally opened into the death of alleged 'murder' victim Cameron Lindley, who was found dead at a home in Treforis, Betws on September 8.
Coroner's officer Malcolm Thompson today (Friday, September 30) confirmed that Mr Lindley's body was discovered by police at 8.50pm on September 8, after they were summoned to 36 Treforis following an alleged incident.
There they discovered the body of 22-year-old Mr Lindley who had recevied fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death was subsequently confirmed by a hospital pathologist to have been the result of 'sharp forced injuries' to his neck and his trunk.

Following Mr Cameron's death, 19-year-old Tyler Lindley was charged with his murder. He is listed to appear at Swansea Crown Court on October 11.
Carmarthenshire Coroner Mr Mark Layton adjourned the inquest pending the conclusion of the criminal proceedings, when it will be decided whether the inquest will subsequently be resumed.
