Many local households will be receiving ultrafast broadband, after a fibre broadband operator announced a new network is to be rolled out.
Netomnia announced that its full fibre multi-gigabit network will provide ultrafast broadband to 50,000 households in Neath and the surrounding areas, reaching Pontardawe.
The company will also be rolling out the network in Morriston, with a further 35,000 premises also benefiting from the broadband.
The installation of the network is part of a combined investment of up to £25.5 million in the area, delivering access to its robust and reliable broadband network, helping to future-proof and diversify the local economy.

The company is partnering with G Force Telecomms to roll out its broadband infrastructure in both Morriston and Neath, enabling speedy deployment using cutting edge optical solutions.
The latest announcement builds on Netomnia’s existing presence in Wales, as it is already targeting around 40,000 premises in Wrexham, 55,000 premises in Bridgend and 29,000 premises in Barry, to provide access to its robust and reliable infrastructure.
