Cwmamman United have formally named their two stands at Grenig Park after former heroes of the club, in a ceremony held at the weekend.
The ceremony occurred before Cwm’s home game against Dinas Powys on the afternoon of Saturday, October 15, which the away side won 2-0.
The two 75-seater stands were named the Raymond Jones Stand and the Graham Jones Stand in the pre-match celebration.
Both Graham and Raymond’s families were present at the match, along with many ex-players, as the stands were named in their memory.
They now join the elite company of Paul Pugh, who previously had one of the stands at Grenig Park named in his honour.

Chairman of Cwmamman United, Lance Williams, said: “We are delighted to be in a position to do this as Raymond and Graham were such wonderful gentlemen and critical contributors from our very early days in helping to get us to where we are today.
“We were thrilled the families could be here along with so many friends to enjoy the occasion.”
