Llandeilo could face a three-day road closure next week, as essential work is planned.

Wales and West Utilities' work on George Hill and George Street is planned to start on Monday, October 31, which could last until Wednesday, November 2.

The work, should the request be approved, would see the U2096 closed, from a point 150m north-east of its junction with George Hill, to a point 5m west of its junction with King Street, for a distance of 30m in a north-easterly direction.

A spokesperson said: "The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Wales and West Utilities make an alteration in the gas service, which shall take place on Monday 31st October 2022 for a period of three days.
