The case against Shaunagh Downing, the Ammanford woman charged with stabbing Daniel Jonas following an altercation in the town centre in July 2022, has been adjourned after one of the jurors became unwell during the trial.
Both the Prosecution and the defence lawyers concluded giving their evidence earlier this morning (Friday), and the jury was asked to retire to consider its verdict.
However just after 3pm this afternoon, Judge Huw Rees informed the court that the matter had to be adjourned following confirmation that one of the jurors had become unwell.
