The Festival of Senses has returned to Llandeilo, with hundreds of people visiting the town to see the official opening on Friday night.
King Street was closed as the festival was opened on the evening of Friday, November 18 by MP for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr, Jonathan Edwards.
The celebrations began at 5pm with the town band on the King Street stage, before the festival's official opening and Santa coming through the town.
It was early evening when Santa's sleigh drove through the streets of Llandeilo, as did the lantern procession shortly after by the schoolchildren of the town.
The town band remained on the King Street stage for the evening, with Ffion Haf singing several hymns for the crowd's entertainment.
Mayor of Llandeilo, Cllr Gordon Kilby, then turned the Christmas lights on, before more entertainment on stage and a laser show above the centre of the town.
The stage closed at 9pm on the Friday evening, with the stores staying open afterwards for festive food and drinks.
