A MAN will be sentenced next month for trespass and theft.
Gareth Wyn Evans, 42, whose address is listed as Bell Hotel, Newtown, Powys, appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court on November 18 where he pleaded guilty to trespass and theft.
He admitted that between April 23, 2021, and April 25, 2021, he entered a house in Ystradgynlais and stole a silver Sony Hi-Fi system, LG television, white Samsung tablet, five watches that were on the upstairs windowsill, a jewellery box with rings, bracelet and chain and some coins inside.
He also stole a children’s ceramic moneybox and the coins inside it, a leather scout pouch with a collection of 50p pieces inside an old-style £20 note, a Russell Hobbs kettle and toaster, electric heater and Glade plug-in air fresheners.
He has been remanded on unconditional bail and will appear at Swansea Crown Court on December 2.
