THREE people from the Amman Valley have been sent to trial for burglary.
Cerith Thomas, Alison Rixon and Paul Williams entered not guilty pleas at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 24 in relation to charges of burglary and handling stolen goods.
Thomas, 50, of Arfyn, Upper Brynamman, denies a charge of ‘burglary dwelling and theft – no violence.’
Rixon, 33, of Station Road, Rhosamman, also denied a charge of ‘burglary dwelling and theft – no violence.’
The charge for both relates to where both were accused of entering a property in Upper Brynamman as trespassers between June 10, 2021, and July 22, 2022, where they are alleged to have stolen 16 items.

Williams, 47, of Arfyn, Upper Brynamman, denies a charge of handling stolen goods where he is alleged to have ‘dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely therein 16 identified items of a value unknown by or for the benefit of Alison Rixon and Cerith Thomas or dishonestly arranged so to do, knowing or believing the same to be stolen goods.’ The charges relate to the same dates mentioned above.
The three have been remanded on unconditional bail and are due in court at Swansea Crown Court on December 22.
