A MAN is due to find out his trial date relating to controlling behaviour in Ammanford next week.
Jordan Leigh Richards, 31, of Duke Street, Kidderminster, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on December 5 to resume his case.
Initially on November 17, he pleaded guilty to assault in Ammanford, which took place in July.
He was also charged with controlling behaviour that is alleged to have taken place between December 2015 and March 2022 which he denied.
He also denied a section 4a charge of stalking for the period between August 10 and October 9 this year in relation to sending text messages. He did, however, admit a section 2a alternative stalking charge.
His Honour Judge H P Thomas KC initially adjourned the case to December 5 for the prosecution to collect more evidence from police.
Her Honour Judge Catherine Richards further adjourned the case until December 12. Richards has been granted conditional bail to appear before Swansea Crown Court on the date for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
