HERE are some of the people who were recently in court for speeding on our roads.
James Terry, 44, of Hendy Close, Sketty, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 29.
He was caught on May 19 doing 46mph in a Citroen Berlingo on the A476 at Carmel North, Cross Hands, a restricted road with a 30mph limit.
He was fined £440, given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
Anthony Thomas Ursell, 64, of Glantren Lane, Llanybydder, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 30.
He was caught on March 17 doing 37mph in a Ford Ranger on the A483 near Talardd Villas, Ffairfach, Llandeilo, a restricted road with a 30mph limit.
He was fined £66, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge.
Mark Davies, 51, of Parc Wern, Skewen, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 30.
He was caught on May 19 doing 38mph in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter on the A476 Carmel North, Cross Hands, a restricted road where the limit is 30mph.
He was fined £220, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
