Bin collection dates across Carmarthenshire are to change over the Christmas and New Year period, with the new dates confirmed by the county council.
Recycling and waste collections on Monday, December 26 (Boxing Day), will instead be collected Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve).
All other recycling and waste collection days for the week of December 26 to January 1, will be as normal (including hygiene and nappy waste collections).
For the week commencing Monday, January 2 (New Year Bank Holiday), collections will take place one day later than usual.
People are advised to put their bins out by 6am on collection day.
All Carmarthenshire County Council recycling centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day and will close at 12 noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
The centres will be open on their usual opening days during the remainder of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Cabinet member for transport, waste and infrastructure services, Cllr Edward Thomas said: “I would like to thank our waste and recycling collection crews for their hard work and efforts over the coming Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
“I would also like to wish everyone in Carmarthenshire a Merry Christmas and please remember to recycle as much as possible and keep to the three black bag limit for your non-recyclable waste.
“Should you wish to dispose of your real Christmas tree once the festivities are over, you can do so by taking it to one of our recycling centres in January and get a bag of ‘Merlin’s Magic Compost’ free of charge.”
