A SWANSEA Valley man is among 13 others to face trial for conspiracy to produce cannabis.
David Carl Richards, 44, of Pontardawe Road, Pontardawe, was remanded into custody by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 14 on the charge.
Richards – who is also known as Dai Cosworth according to court documents – stands alongside Aurel Gjoshi, Ardjan Sherifi, Christopher John Gwyn Mace, Admjerim Balla, Mario Vishi, Ardit Zorba, Deomald Sallufi, Sadik Selimi, Vilson Tufa, Florian Balla, Lisander Coku and Cornel Gabriel Macoviciuc in the charge of conspiracy to produce a class B drug.
They are accused of producing a quantity of cannabis in Swansea between August 17, 2020, and June 15, 2022.
Richards has remanded in custody to await trial at Cardiff Crown Court which is scheduled for January 11.
