TWO men were in court recently for driving without insurance.
John Derek Dorr, 39, of Commercial Road, Rhydyfro, Pontardawe, admitted driving without insurance at Llanelli Magistrates Court on December 16.
He was caught on June 3 driving a Mercedes-Benz Gla on Black Lion Road when there was no insurance policy in place to cover the use of the vehicle.
He was fined £120, given eight points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
He received no separate penalty for a charge of driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence – after admitting that on the above date, he was driving without holding a valid driving licence.
