FIVE people from the region have been fined for failing to give police information.
Lee James Allbright, 38, of Ynysmeudwy Road, Ynysmeudwy, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 29.
He committed the offence on October 25 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Renault vehicle which was believed to have been involved in an offence.
He was fined £660, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.
Anastasios Maratidis, 43, of Herbert Street, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 1 and was sentenced on December 29.
He committed the offence on October 25 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Mercedes which was believed to have been involved in an offence.
He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £660 and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.
Alex Stuart Davies, 41, of St Teilo Street, Pontarddulais, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 3.
He committed the offence on August 5 when he failed to provide Dyfed-Powys Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Land Rover Defender X-Dynamic which was believed to have been involved in an offence.
He was fined £660, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.
