A NUMBER of drivers have been fined for using a mobile phone or not wearing a seatbelt while driving.
Geraint Powell, 53, of Halfway, Llandovery, admitted using a phone while driving at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 3.
He was caught on June 12 driving a Massey Ferguson on the A40 at Llandovery while using a mobile phone.
He was fined £40, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Nathan Roberts, 31, of Llygad yr Haul, Caewern, was found guilty of driving without wearing a seatbelt by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 5.
He was caught driving a Ford Transit on Wind Road in Ystradgynlais on June 15 without wearing a seatbelt.
He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Roger Wicks, 39, of Common Ing Lane, Ryhill, Wakefield, was found guilty of driving without wearing a seatbelt by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 5.
He was caught driving a Mercedes Sprinter on Brecon Road, Ystradgynlais on June 15 without wearing a seatbelt.
He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
