THREE people have been in court recently for criminal damage and failing to carry out a test.
David Davies, 30, of Arthur Street, Ammanford, admitted failing to attend a test for class A drugs at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 5.
He committed the offence on December 5 when he failed to attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse a class A drug after cocaine had been found in his system.
He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 surcharge and £85 costs.
Jordan Evans, 21, of Lon Tanyrallt, Pontardawe, admitted breaching probation orders at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court on January 9.
Evans had been under a supervision order following release from a period of imprisonment and failed to attend a planned appointment on three separate occasions – September 23, October 14 and November 15 and failed to provide acceptable evidence within five days of the failure. He was fined £5.
Denise Rivers, 60, of New Road, Ystradowen, admitted criminal damage at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 5.
She committed the offence on November 26, 2021, when she damaged the bonnet of a white Citroen C3 causing £1,122.88 damage.
She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £500 compensation and £85 costs.
