Dinefwr and Carmarthenshire East MP Jonathan Edwards will be hosting a local event to help constituents with the rising cost of living.
The event will bring together the organisations and groups who are offering support to allow the local communities the opportunity to see what help is on offer.
Mr Edwards said: “It is clear that the ongoing cost of living crisis is having a real impact on my constituents, many of whom have no idea where to turn.
“I am hoping to bring organisations who can offer any help together in one place in order for constituents to come along and discuss their concerns.
MORE NEWS:
“Many people don’t know what they are entitled to and what help is available, and this help could be crucial to many individuals and families. It is going to be a really tough year and it is important that we all help each other when we can.”
Carmarthenshire Citizens Advice, Welsh Water and the Department of Work and Pensions have already committed to attending the event and any other local organisations or groups who would like to get involved should contact rebeca.phillips@parliament.uk for more information.
