TWO people have been in court recently for using a mobile phone whilst driving.
Hayley Powell, 26, of Tal y Coed, Hendy, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving by Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 10.
She was caught using her mobile phone on July 27 while driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A4138 Iscoed Road at the junction with Fforest Road and Water Street, Pontarddulais.
She was fined £220, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
She received no separate penalty after being found guilty of a charge of driving the vehicle when not in a position to have proper control of the vehicle.

David Michael Todd, 39, of Heol y Gors, Cwmgors, admitted using a mobile phone while driving at Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 10.
He was caught using his mobile phone on August 21 while driving a Renault Megane on Clase Road, Morriston.
He was fined £123, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £49 surcharge and £90 costs.
