Several people have been in court on a number of insurance charges.
Leejay Douglas Woodward, 33, of Maesybont, Glanaman, was found guilty of two driving offences by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 18.
He was found guilty of allowing another person to use a Seat Leon on Station Road, Glanaman, on April 16 without an insurance policy in place to cover the use of the vehicle.
He was also found guilty of aiding and abetting the person to use the Seat Leon as at the time, the user was a disqualified driver.
He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £180 and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £62 costs for the insurance charge. He received no separate penalty for the second charge.
Andrew Davies, 41, of Glyncoch, Llandovery, was found guilty of keeping a vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 13.
He was found to have been the registered keeper of a vehicle on July 8 which is said did not meet insurance requirements under Section 144A of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
He was fined £125 and had to pay £50 surcharge and £140 costs.

Kelly Harwood, 41, of Wade Avenue, Ystalyfera, was found guilty of driving without insurance on December 22 and banned from driving on January 19 by Llanelli Magistrates Court.
She was caught on June 10 driving a Renault Clio on Ynysdarren Road, Ystalyfera, where there was no insurance policy in place to cover the use of the car.
She was fined £660, banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
She received no separate penalty after being found guilty of a charge of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence after being caught driving the vehicle without being accompanied by a qualified driver and not displaying L plates as is mandatory with a provisional driving licence.
Marc Meredith, 46, of Spencer Terrace, Lower Cwmtwrch, was found guilty of driving without insurance by Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 17.
He was caught on June 1 driving a Ford Fiesta on Trawsffordd, Ystradgynlais, when there was no insurance policy in place to cover his use of the vehicle.
He was fined £660 and banned from driving for 12-months due to repeat offending. He also had to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
He received no separate penalty after being found guilty of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence as he was not the holder of a valid licence. He also received no separate penalty for speeding after being caught doing 39mph in a 30mph zone on the above street.
