AN Amman Valley foundation has received almost £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund.

The Jac Lewis Foundation received £9,600 in a grant from the fund which will help them to continue to deliver their Wales Bereavement Through Suicide project.

The foundation was set up in 2019 in memory of Jac Lewis, a popular player for Ammanford AFC and much-loved member of the wider community.

Jonathan Edwards, MP for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr, visited the Wellbeing Centre in Ammanford to meet representatives of the foundation and discuss their future plans.
