MORE NEWS:
“It is vital that individuals are aware of the support that is available to them and where to turn when they are in serious financial difficulties.
“There are many schemes being run by these organisations to try and help with the rising costs and with no signs of the situation improving, individuals must be aware of the help available.”
Ammanford Foodbank’s Paul Kennedy said: “Ammanford Foodbank were delighted to be a part of the cost-of-living event last week, it was a great opportunity to engage with the local community and try to answer any queries they may have regarding what support is available to them in their area.
“Seeing individuals come in and speak with the agencies present knowing that they’re leaving more supported and informed was a great feeling.
“All in all, it was a very worthwhile and much needed event in the area.”
