A MAN from the Amman Valley will stand trial for burglary later this month.
Cerith Thomas, 50, of Arfyn, Upper Brynamman, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Monday.
He denies a charge of burglary of a dwelling.
Judge Huw Rees ordered that Thomas will face a two-day trial later this month, after his two co-defendants have already pleaded guilty.
Alison Rixon, 33, of Station Road, Rhosamman, has pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling, while Paul Williams, 47, of Arfyn, Upper Brynamman, has admitted a charge of handling stolen goods.
Both Thomas and Rixon were accused of entering a property in Upper Brynamman as trespassers between June 10, 2021, and July 22, 2022, where they are alleged to have stolen 16 items.
David Leathley appeared on behalf of Thomas, while James Hartson prosecuted.
Thomas will stand trial on Tuesday, April 18.
