THERE will be a wealth of produce by local businesses for shoppers to enjoy in Ammanford this week with the return of the 100% Sir Gar pop up shops.
The pop up shops will be returning to Carmarthenshire’s three main towns – Llanelli, Carmarthen and Ammanford, providing an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products to new markets.
This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
Cllr. Gareth John, Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism said: “I’m pleased to see Carmarthenshire businesses return to our three main highstreets during the Eater holiday, via the 100% Sir Gâr pop up shops.
“What better way to spend the Easter break than enjoying a day out in the town, with some retail therapying and supporting Carmarthenshire businesses.”
