THESE residents were recently in court for failing to provide information to police.

Sandra Jane Stolp, 57, of Dyffryn Road, Alltwen, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 13.

She committed the offence on November 29 when she failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Hyundai Tucson which was believed to have been involved in an offence.

She was fined £660, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.

Brian David John Griffiths, 62, of Swansea Road, Trebanos, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 17.

He committed the offence on December 8 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Renault Trafic that was believed to have been involved in an offence.

He was fined £660, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.

James Varney, 37, of Maes Gareth Edwards, Gwaun Cae Gurwen, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 17.

He committed the offence on January 11 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Vauxhall Movano which was believed to have been involved in an offence.

He was fined £660, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £90 costs.

He was also found guilty of a second charge of the same offence when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information on January 11, this time relating to the identity of the driver of a Mercedes Sprinter that was believed to have been involved in an offence.

He was fined £660, banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £528 surcharge and £90 costs.

Philip Wayne Peters, 54, of Maes y Glyn, Lower Brynamman, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 21.

He committed the offence on January 25 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Nissan Qasahqai which was believed to have been involved in an offence.

He was fined £660, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £264 surcharge and £90 costs.

Amber Jade Richards, 30, of Heol Rhyd Ddu Fach, Cwmllynfell, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 21.
