A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after an incident at Tesco in Ammanford on Friday, April 14.
Dyfed-Powys Police were called after the woman crashed her car at the store at around 6am.
No other vehicles were involved.
The woman was trapped in her car after the crash, and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended to cut her free.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We attended the Tesco store in Park Street, Ammanford, following a one-car collision at 6am today.
“One woman was taken to hospital.
“The incident was cleared at approximately 8.15am.”
“At 6.04am on Friday, April 14, the Ammanford crew attended a road traffic collision incident at the Tesco Superstore in Ammanford.
“The road traffic collision involved one private motor vehicle with one casualty trapped inside.
“The crew utilised a demountable winch, one hose reel jet, chocks and blocks, cutting gear and airbags to release the casualty.
“The casualty then received medical attention from the crew while waiting for the Ambulance Service to arrive.
“The crew left the scene at 7.23am.”
