A NUMBER of properties are available at a new housing development.
Persimmon Homes has announced the launch of its Maes y Rhos development in Ystradgynlais, as well as an Awel y Mynydd development in Pembrey in nearby Carmarthenshire.
Both sites will offer a range of what Persimmon Homes calls ‘beautifully designed homes in sustainable communities.’
Persimmon Homes says they will cater to the 'diverse needs' of homebuyers, especially young families and first-time buyers.
The Maes y Rhos development is located in the heart of Ystradgynlais and has a total of 45 properties, made up of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
The first release includes three and five-bedroom homes which start at £279,995. Anyone interested can find out more at Clee Tompkinson Estate Agents in Ystradgynlais.
Persimmon will be contributing £17,500 towards improving the community of Ystradgynlais, including improvements to local play areas and enhancing the community’s recreational amenities.
Awel y Mynydd has a total of 100 plots in Pembrey and offers two, three and four-bedroom homes.
The initial release includes three and four-bedroom homes starting at £239,995. 20 per cent of the new housing in Awel y Mynydd is a low-cost option and Persimmon is contributing £146,000 to local education services and £50,000 towards local drainage improvements and to provide on-site public open space.
Sharon Bouhali, Persimmon West Wales’ sales director, said: “We are thrilled to unveil these two exceptional sites, Awel y Mynydd and Maes y Rhos, which offer a range of quality new homes for local people.
“We understand the importance of finding the perfect home, and we believe these developments will provide prospective buyers with a fantastic living experience in desirable locations.
“With a variety of house sizes and prices at both Pembrey and Ystradgynlais, we are confident that there is a home to suit every lifestyle and budget, especially young families and first-time buyers who otherwise might struggle to get onto the housing ladder locally.”
