A POPULAR pantomime adds another star to its cast for Swansea.
Swansea Grand Theatre has announced that comedian Stefan Pejic will join the cast of this year’s Cinderella pantomime as Fairy Godparent.
Stefan is a regular on TV and in theatre and has already been in four pantomimes at the theatre and will be returning for the Imagine Theatre production this December.
He said: “I couldn’t be happier than to be back in Swansea again this year. I absolutely love the audiences here and I’m really excited by taking on the role of Fairy Godparent.
“As a character actor, this will be a right treat, I’ve never played the role before and don’t think it’s been done that often so I really can’t wait – there might even be an extra sprinkling of panto magic!
“If you came last year and were blown away by the special effects… well you ain’t seen nothing yet!”
Stefan joins dancing brothers AJ and Curtis Pritchard and Swansea regulars Kev Johns and Matt Edwards in the retelling of the beloved rags to riches tale.
There will also be award-winning digital sets with beautifully animated scenes which were extremely popular in Swansea Grand Theatre’s 2022 pantomime Beauty and the Beast.
Grant McFarlane, manager at Swansea Grand Theatre, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Stefan back after his stellar performance as the Beast/Prince in our award-winning pantomime last year.”
Cinderella at Swansea Grand Theatre is being sponsored by FRF Toyota Motability and is running at the theatre from December 9 to January 7. Tickets cost £17 and there are school, group and concession rates available. To book tickets, visit www.swanseagrand.co.uk or call 01792 475715 between 10am and 4pm on non-show days between Monday and Saturday, or midday to 15 minutes after curtains up on show days.
