A GWENDRAETH Valley man was fined after failing to attend a drug assessment.
Ieuan Walters, 38, of Grove Hill Park, Gorslas, admitted a charge of failing to attend/remain for duration of initial assessment after test for class A drug at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 22.
He admitted that on May 2, 2023, a sample had been taken from him in Ammanford which found a presence of cocaine in his system but he failed to then attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent on or had a propensity to misuse class A substances.
He was ordered to pay £120 fine, £48 surcharge and £110 costs.
