A COMEDIAN will be coming to Cardiff in January.
Coventry’s Guz Khan will be in Cardiff as part of a 2024 tour across the UK.
The BAFTA-nominated star and creator of Man Like Mobeen is also a stand-up comedian who has hosted and guest appeared on a number of shows such as Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You, QI and A League of Their Own.
He played Rolph in the Netflix film Army of Thieves and appears as Howie in Netflix comedy The Bubble alongside Karen Gillan, Keegan-Michael Key and Leslie Mann. He was in season one of Our Flag Means Death and currently voices Zane in animated comedy Digman! He has also appeared in Turn Up Charlie, the remake of Four Weddings and a Funeral and Curfew.
He was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme for Man Like Mobeen, with the show being nominated for Best Scripted Comedy in 2021.
He won Best Male Actor, Best Writer and Best Craft awards at the 2020 RTS Midlands Awards and Man Like Mobeen won Best Comedy Programme at the Broadcast Digita Awards 2020.
On his touring schedule, he has sold out three nights on London’s West End at the Harold Pinter Theatre and spent the start of 2023 on tour across the UK.
On the tour returning, Guz said: “Round 2 of the tour, if you want to see the real ones, make your way down mate.”
