IT was typical Welsh weather for Trap Show on the weekend – with rain, sunshine and a blustery wind – but it did not stop a successful day from taking place.
Trap Show was held on Saturday, July 29 and there was a high standard in entries.
Show presidents for 2023 were Trevor and Lorraine Thomas of Maesgwastod, Llanddeusant, who have been stalwarts at the show over a number of years.

Wyn Thomas retained the Supreme Champion in the sheep section after winning the title in 2022.
The vintage parade provided a spectacle with a range of makes with Aled Jones providing commentary.
A highlight was the pet dogs competition, with crowds surrounding the judging ring. There was fun and games with the caterpillar digger challenge and children’s sports events including a sack race and egg and spoon race. There were also It’s a Knockout and Quoits games, with a hog roads and a chance to end the evening socializing.
