A NUMBER of applications for planning permission in the Towy Valley have recently been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council.

Here we look at those applications that are under consultation.

Telecoms development in Llanwrda (reference: PL/06302. Consultation deadline: August 11)

There are plans to remove a lattice tower and install a taller tower at Pantybryn, Llanwrda.

The application was submitted by Cellnex UK Limited for the existing telecommunications compound at Llanwrda Pantybryn, Llanwrda, which will se a 15m lattice tower removed and the installation of a new 20m tower and associated ancillary equipment at different heights installed with a 2.1m high fenced compound.

Renewal of outline permission for house in Llandeilo (reference: PL/06224. Consultation deadline: August 8)

An application has been submitted to the council for the renewal of outline permission for a dwelling in Llandeilo.

The application was submitted by Sarah Rees and it relates to a property on Carmarthen Road, Llandeilo.

The total area of the site is 800 square metres and is currently used for grazing. If approved, it would allow the outline planning permission which was previously granted for the building of a detached house on the land.

Construction of a motorbike/domestic store garage in Llandovery (reference: PL/06273. Consultation deadline: August 10)

Plans have been submitted by Lee Lewis to build a garage on his property in Queensway, Llandovery.

If approved, the plans would see a motorbike domestic store/garage built at the site.

Garage demolition and build of extension in Llandeilo (reference: PL/06239. Consultation deadline: August 8)

Plans have been submitted by Edward Friend to demolish a garage at a property on the C2118 from Capel Isaac to Penybanc, Llandeilo, and to build a two-storey side extension.

Manordeilo and Salem Community Council has no objections but requests an alternative material for the extension, for lime wash to be used.

Slurry store construction, Llandeilo (PL/06300. Consultation deadline: August 11)

Plans for a slurry store and associated works have been submitted to the council by Messers Leverett for Ffrwdwen, Capel Isaac, Llandeilo. The 2,382 square metre site is currently agricultural land, with the plan to build the slurry store and carry out the associated works on this land.
