This weekend PizzaExpress is on a mission to fill Cardiff's Mermaid Quay with music, with a series of al fresco performances.
Combining great food and great music, PizzaExpress' Live Summer Sessions will be raising money for music therapy charity, Nordoff and Robbins.
This week from August 10 to 13, PizzaExpress at Mermaid Quay will see performers entertaining the diners and passers-by - each day will see three to five performers perform a 40-minute set.
British singer-songwriter Grace Carter, whose breakthrough moment was placing third on the BBC’s Sound of 2019 list, will be performing at the Mermaid Quay restaurant on Friday, August 11 at 20:30.
Other performances across the weekend on Saturday and Sunday take place from 16:30-19:30 every evening.
The evening’s performer line up is also set to feature a lucky competition entrant who will showcase their musical skills and compete for a money-can’t-buy prize – the opportunity to record an album via PX Records and perform at one of PizzaExpress’ iconic music venues, PizzaExpress Live.
