A DRINK driver who was caught in Upper Brynamman three times over the limit assaulted a police officer.
Christopher Bradley, 51, of Heol Y Gors in Cwmgors, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Llandeilo Road in Upper Brynamman while under the influence on August 20.
When breathalysed, he recorded 111 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit 35.

Bradley also admitted assaulting a police officer on Llandeilo Road in Upper Brynamman on the same date, and obstructing an officer in the execution of their duties.
A charge of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress was also accepted by the defendant.
Appearing at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 22, Bradley was sentenced to a one-year community order. As part of this, he must complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity requirement, and 200 hours of unpaid work – uplifted from 150 hours due to the offences being against an emergency worker.
Bradley was also banned from driving for two years.
