A RANGE of spooky fun will be taking place across Carmarthenshire this coming Hallowe’en and October half term.
The Miners’, Ammanford, will be hosting a spine-chilling night of drama as James Hyland’s award-winning Dracula’s Guest is brought to life. It is based on the works of Bram Stoker and will be at The Miners’ on Tuesday, October 24 at 7.30pm.
Also at the The Miners’ will be an interactive family adventure on Tuesday, October 31 at 2pm. The Midnight Mission is a spooky playable production which puts the story in the audience’s hands as they get to decide what comes next. The show follows Agents Kahlo and Dali of the Company of International Artists who work against the clock to solve a spooky but intriguing mystery.
At The Lyric, Carmarthen, a fun-filled Shark in the Park will be taking to the stage. It is an adaptation of Nick Sharratt’s popular book of the same name. It will be brought to life by the team behind The Hairy Maclary on Saturday, October 28 with performances at 1pm and 4pm.
Over at The Ffwrnes, Llanelli, there will be a family-friendly spectacular as Milkshake! Live – Milkshake! Monkey’s Musical is brought to the stage on Monday, October 30 with performances at 12pm and 3.30pm.
On Tuesday, October 31, there will be some spooky and witchy fun at 10.30am as the Hocus Pocus Hallowe’en Party and Film is being held. It is a chance to follow the antics of the Sanderson sisters and dress up in your most terrifying costumes for a morning of Hallowe’en fun which includes apple bobbing, face painting, cupcake decorating, scary crafts and live magic.
There will also be a production of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes at The Ffwrnes on Wednesday, November 1 at 7.30pm. The show is loosely based on the classic stories and is suitable for those ages 11 and over. It is performed by Black RAT Productions.
