TWO people were recently in court for failing to provide information to police.
Gareth Nilsson, 51, of Llechyfedach, Upper Tumble, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 10.
He committed the offence on June 29 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Peugeot which was believed to have been involved in an earlier speeding offence.
He was given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £660 fine, £264 surcharge and £90 costs.
Jeffrey Davies-Woodrow, 73, of Ynysydarren Road, Ystalyfera, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 9.
He committed the offence on June 13 when he failed to provide information to South Wales Police relating to the identity of the driver of a Mitsubishi Outlander Estate which was believed to have been involved in an earlier offence of running a red light.
He was given six points on his licence and ordered to pay £660 fine, £264 surcharge and £90 costs.
