A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with “striking” her partner in the face.
Rhian Thomas-Dyson, 48, of Carmarthen Road in Cross Hands, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with assault by beating and criminal damage.
She was accused of attacking her partner by “striking him in the face” in Penygroes on May 11.

It was also alleged that she damaged “a number of items” belonging to the man, including a TV, a wall, and a photo frame.
She pleaded guilty to both charges on November 22.
Thomas-Dyson was sentenced to a one-year community order, as part of which she must complete 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
She was also ordered to pay a total of £250 in compensation to the victim and a £40 fine.
The victim was also granted a restraining order for one year.
