THESE three defendants have had their cases heard in court recently.

The defendants were charged with offences including assaulting a woman, criminal damage, and a racially aggravated offence.

Their cases were heard at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.

Here is a round-up of the cases.

AYHAN ALBAYRAK, 48, of Bryngyrnos Street in Bryn, Neath Port Talbot, must pay more than £1,400 after admitting twice damaging a woman’s car.

Albayrak was accused of damaging a Suzuki Swift in Cross Hands on August 15 and 29 this year.

The defendant pleaded guilty to two charges of criminal damage at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on November 28.

Albayrak must pay £800 in compensation, a total fine of £460, £85 in costs, and a £92 surcharge.

BENJAMIN GRIFFITHS, 39, of Gwaernogle, admitted committing a racially aggravated offence.

Griffiths was accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour with the intent to cause his victim harassment, alarm or distress. He admitted this was racially aggravated.

He pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on November 17.

Griffiths was fined £200, and was ordered to pay £85 in costs and an £80 surcharge.

LUKAZ STOLARSKI, 41, of Iscoed Road in Hendy, has denied attacking a woman.

Stolarski was charged with assault by beating in relation to an alleged incident on May 7 in Hendy.

He pleaded not guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on November 22.

The defendant will next appear in court on January 8.
