A NUMBER of drivers from the Ammanford, Amman Valley and Gwendraeth Valley have recently been in court for speeding.
Kyle John Ash, 32, of Black Lion Road, Cross Hands, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 10.
He was caught on April 25 doing 80mph in a Vauxhall Vivaro on the M4 Overbridge near Groesfaen where the limit is 70mph.
He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £220 fine, £88 surcharge and 90 costs.
Spencer Brian Tapp, 63, of Pontarddulais Road, Cross Hands, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 14.
He was caught on May 5 doing 38mph in a Vauxhall Corsa on the A4019 Main Road junction with New Road, Aberdulais, where the limit was 30mph.
He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £220 fine, £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
Julie Hands, 52, of Heol Aman, Glanaman, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 22.
She was caught on May 14 doing 38mph in a Volkswagen T-Cross on Cockett Road, Cockett, Swansea, where the limit was 30mph.
She was given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £100 fine, £40 costs and £90 surcharge.
Spencer John Condon, 33, of Wern Ddu Road, Ammanford, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 24.
He was caught on May 17 doing 35mph in a Mitsubishi L200 on Cockett Road, Cockett, Swansea, where the limit was 30mph.
He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £220 fine, £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
Muslimah Miah, 36, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 27.
She was caught on May 17 doing 32mph on Birchgrove Road, Glais, where the limit is 20mph.
She was given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £100 fine, £40 surcharge and £90 costs.
