A number of people from the Swansea Valley have recently been in court for speeding.
Susan Oliver, 64, of Gwilym Road, Cwmllynfell, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 20.
She was caught on May 3 doing 35mph in a Kia Picanto on the A4068 Brynamman Road, Brynamman, where the limit was 30mph.
She was given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £70 fine and £28 surcharge as the court accepted the mitigation and the fine was paid online.
Stephen Malvern Jones, 58, of Heol Glantawe, Ystradgynlais, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 27.
He was caught on May 18 doing 32mph in a Mercedes A180 on Birchgrove Road, Glais, where the limit is 20mph.
He was given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £133 fine, £53 surcharge and £90 costs.
Luke John Turner, 37, of Tyn y Cae, Alltwen, Pontardawe, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 27.
He was caught on May 17 doing 33mph in a Honda Civic on Pontardawe Road, Clydach, outside St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, where the limit is 20mph.
He was given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £100 fine, £40 surcharge and £90 costs.
Marc Anthony Young, 33, of Cwmphil Road, Lower Cwmtwrch, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 27.
He was caught on May 17 doing 28mph in an Audi A1 on Birchgrove Road, Glais, where the limit is 20mph.
He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £220 fine, £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
