AN Ammanford comedian will be performing in Glasgow next month as part of an international comedy festival.
Gareth P Morris will be taking part in the Glasgow International Comedy Festival in March. He will be performing an hour-long show with Caerphilly comedian Tommy Smith. The duo will be based at The Griffin Pub.
Gareth has only been performing as a comedian for two years but is honoured to join the line up at the festival. He said: “It’s an absolute honour to be asked to join the line up at The Griffin. I’m still learning the ropes on how to make folk laugh, here’s hoping they enjoy songs about ‘bags for life’ and ‘bath mats’!”
Gareth has been plying his trade at Ammanford’s Has Beanz Coffee Bar and Llandeilo’s The Salutation Inn and hosted the 2023 Ammanford Christmas lights switch on and Brynamman Cinema’s local showcase.
Gareth and Tommy’s shows at The Griffin Pub will take place between March 22 and 24 in Glasgow city centre. The shows are put on by promoter Giggin’ it Up.
The duo will be able to say that they have performed on a bill alongside the likes of Frank Skinner, Frankie Boyle, Ed Gamble, Susie McCabe and Kiri Pritchard-Maclean, who are also performing at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
