Girlguiding Cwmamman District came together on February 22 to celebrate World Thinking Day.
Girlguiding Cwmamman District held a service for Thinking Day at Llanfair Church Cwmgors (while Christchurch Twyn, Garnant is having a new makeover).
On the evening of Thursday, February 22, the unit’s colour party brought in their standards and collected them at the end of the service.
Rainbows, brownies and guides sang some fun lively songs.
Guides and young leaders read passages to explain Thinking Day and some members made their rainbow, brownie and guide promises.
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world, representing 8.8 million girls and young women from 153 countries.
Girlguiding Cymru is the leading charity for girls and young women in Wales with nearly 11,00 members.
With over 1,109 groups meeting weekly powered by over 3,00 volunteers it is active in every part of Wales and shows girls from four to 18 that they can do anything a world of possibilities big and small, where every girl can laugh and learn and be herself.
Girlguiding is what each girl wants it to be. It might be the thrill of doing something for the first time, songs around a campfire, the buzz of getting a new badge, coming home exhausted and full of stories.
