TWO men have been accused of blackmailing and kidnapping a man in Ammanford.
Kye Day and Ehab Atiya appeared via video link at Swansea Crown Court charged with a series of offences against a man and a woman on January 24.
The pair were accused of blackmailing the man – demanding £4,300 – and also kidnapping him.

Day, 21, of no fixed abode, was alleged to have damaged all four tyres on the man’s Vauxhall Corsa, as well as on a woman’s Seat Leon.
He faced a third charge or criminal damage, relating to the windows on the Vauxhall Corsa.
Both defendants were charged with having an offensive weapon in a public place, with Day accused of having a metal bar on Heol Ddu in Tycroes, and Atiya accused of having a knuckleduster on Gwilym Road in Rhosamman.
22-year-old Atiya, of Crumlin Drive in the Trowbridge area of Cardiff, was also charged with having a knife on Heol Ddu in Tycroes.
The each also faced a charge of affray.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Judge Paul Thomas KC set a trial date of May 13, and ordered that the defendants remain in custody.
