A MAN is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy in Ammanford.
Douglas Treadwell, 54, was charged with inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and two offences of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard that Treadwell was alleged to have – at a point between April 2013 and April 2017 – carried out a sex act on a boy aged between 13 and 15, and caused the boy to carry out a sex act on him.

He was also accused of inciting a boy to masturbate in front of him – also during the same period.
The alleged incidents were all said to have taken place in Ammanford.
No pleas were entered at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on March 7.
Treadwell, of Longacres in Bridgend, will appear at Swansea Crown Court on April 8 to enter his pleas. He was granted bail in the meantime.
