A meeting to discuss the planned closure of the Ammanford campus of Coleg Sir Gar has been organised.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, March 27, at the Pensioners Hall in Ammanford.
It was organised by politicians from across different parties and will begin at 6.30pm.
Attendees will have the chance to voice their worries about the potential closure of Ammanford College, established in 1927.
"These plans are not yet final, and we will certainly be doing whatever we can to ensure that this historic and important part of the town is not lost," said Adam Price, Plaid Cymru MS for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr.
Cllr Calum Higgins, Labour representative on Ammanford Town Council, said: "It’s vital that we bring the community together to show the strong feeling in the town.
"A public meeting will be an opportunity to hear form voices across the community and to make the case for keeping our college and facilities."
