A road near Ystradgynlais was closed last night (Monday, April 8) due to a landslide.
The A4067 from Ystradgynlais to Cray is unavailable and the council has arranged for "removal of debris" while diversions have been put in place.
A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: “The A4067 between Caerbont roundabout and the C0200 Hoel Giedd junction on the Ystradgynlais bypass is currently closed due to a landslide. The road will be closed while we arrange for removal of debris and make the area safe to reopen. Local diversions are in place.”
The news broke yesterday at 8:23pm when Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police posted on X, confirming the A4067 from Ystradgynlais to Cray was unavailable.
