A MAN has been charged with defrauding a potential business partner.
Andrew James, 57, of Station Road in Ystradgynlais, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court charged with fraud by false representation.
James was accused of – between August 15, 2018, and August 25, 2020 – dishonestly making a false representation by telling a potential business partner he had also invested £80,000, intending to make a gain for himself.

No plea was entered at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on April 4, and a decision was made to send the case to Swansea Crown Court.
James was admitted to bail, and will appear to enter a plea on May 7.
