An Irish musician will be coming to Ystradgynlais for a special performance.
Daoirí Farrell, a Dublin-born singer and bouzouki player, will be performing at The Welfare Ystradgynlais on April 28.
Mr Farrell, a key figure in Irish music in recent years, will take to the stage at 7.30pm.
He began his solo career at the 2016 Celtic Connections and has seen a rapid rise to success, garnering multiple honours including BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and ALSR Celtic Music accolades.
His upcoming performance in Ystradgynlais will coincide with the anticipated release of his fourth solo album in early 2023, which Farrell says incorporates elements of his previous three albums. This new album, 'The Wedding Above In Glencree', is seen as a 'landmark' work in Farrell's career, providing an intimate journey into the heart of his songs.
Tickets are priced between £12 and £18 and can be bought at the box office.
