A former pupil at Ysgol Gyfyn Ystalyfera has signed a new deal with the Ospreys.
Budding Wales U20 star Morgan Morse, 19, has extended his tenure with the Welsh region following his promising displays this season.
Morse made his Ospreys debut in November, and has already contributed much to the team, including two tries and a memorable performance in the historic win over the Lions at Ellis Park.
Having earned 19 caps at U20 level, Morse expressed his excitement over his future with the Ospreys.
He said: "It’s great to be staying with the Ospreys, it’s the team where I started my professional career.
"This is a proud moment for me and my family, and I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can progress here."
Ospreys' head coach, Toby Booth, also came forward with praise for Morse's development.
"Witnessing Morgan’s development through our academy to becoming an important contributor to the senior side has been incredibly rewarding for everyone that has played a part on the way," said Booth.
"His talent, work ethic and commitment to the sport exemplify exactly what we look for in a player.
"We’re excited to see his continued growth and his potential impact in the coming seasons."
