AN AMMAN Valley community centre will host a Welsh produce taster day next month.
On May 4, residents can sample and purchase a range of Welsh produce from the village shop at The Black Mountain Centre in Brynamman.
The ‘Taste of Wales’ event is free and runs from 10am until 3pm.
Black Mountain Centre manager, Scott Davies said: “The purpose of this event is to expose as much local produce as possible. There are so many foodie businesses in Wales, and it is important that we support and encourage them to thrive.
“This will be a delightful event and we invite you to come along and explore new flavoursome produce that’s made in Wales. Happy tasting!”
The Black Mountain Centre is dedicated to Brynamman residents who can attend the centre for hot drinks, home-cooked food or to discover events in the area.
The centre also provides IT facilities, internet access, library, educational classes, doctor’s surgery, and a selection of rooms for hire.
